Maria, the host, was extremely hospitable and always went above and beyond to help me. She even stayed up late to give me the keys to my apartment. The apartment itself was very cosy and comfortable, and I had direct access to a terrace with a beautiful ocean view. The location was perfect, as it was in a quiet area but still close to Funchal and the main road for exploring the rest of the island. I highly recommend this place!

The apartment was mind-blowingly spacious and had everything I needed for my stay. The kitchen was super well-equipped, and there were plenty of towels provided. The bed was spacious and comfy, and the terrace had a jaw-dropping view! Plenty of free parking spots on the street, and the location was great - close to the city center and amazing restaurants. Maria, the host, was incredibly hospitable and always ready to help. The check-in process was seamless, and she even stocked the fridge with juice, milk, and water as a wonderful surprise. The apartment was perfectly clean, and the entire Villa was in a calm and quiet residential area. The beach was a short walk away, and the wifi worked flawlessly. an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend it for anyone exploring the area!

The apartment could benefit from better soundproofing to minimize noise from the neighborhood dogs.

As a senior woman, I found the hotel's accessibility excellent. The hallways were spacious and well-lit, making it easy for me to navigate with my walking aid. The staff, who were like the children of the staff, were always ready to assist me whenever needed, ensuring a comfortable stay.

The only thing I would have asked for to make the vacation even better for senior people is a grab bar in the shower. This small addition would have provided extra support and reassurance, especially for those with limited mobility.
